Organisasjonen skal søke om finansiering av ett prosjekt innefor prosjekttypemet Opplæring av ungdomsarbeidere og én gruppeutveksling. Søknadene skal sendes til 1. februarfristen og de ønsker altså partnerorganisajoner til aktivitetene. Hvis dere er interessert, fyller dere ut vedlagte skjema og sender direkte til organisasjonen.

MY CITY THOUGH YOUR EYES

YOUTH IN ACTION PROGRAMME 2007-2013
ACTION 4.3 (Opplæring av ungdomsarbeidere)

The main idea of the seminar “My City Though Your Eyes” is to encourage the European cooperation in the field of youth policies about stimulating the creativity and innovative spirit of young people.

The project is aiming at gathering young people from different European countries in order to face the cultural and historical heritage of the city of Plovdiv. By using multimedia and other creative ways of performance, they should express how this city looks though their eyes.

The seminar will take place in Plovdiv for 10 days (15 – 25.07.2009). The schedule includes the following activities to be performed within the same period:

• Participation in “Summer Film Nights in Philipopolis”;

• Meeting representatives of the cultural department of the Plovdiv
municipality;
• Shooting short different videos for Plovdiv by the participants;
• Presentations;
• Workshops;
• Other methods of non formal education.

Dates: 15 – 25.07.2009

Place: Plovdiv - Bulgaria

Duration: 10days

Age ofparticipants: 17 – 25

Number of participants: appr. 6 participants + 1 leader

Finance:
According to Youth Programme - 100% of the accommodation and food, and 70% of the travel expenses are covered by the project.

Project title "Young People – rights and opportunities"

Youth in Action Programme 2007 – 2013

Action 1.1 (Gruppeutveksling)

The project "Young People – rights and opportunities" is oriented towards the promotion and consideration of the rights of young people from the EU countries. The main idea of the exchange is educating young people using the fundamental European tendencies. The project is aiming at giving the opportunity to all participants to have essential information and access to good practices which will encourage their position as active citizens.

Young people will discuss some of their problems referring to their rights, their development and future in the European Union. Some of the topics are:

• Introducing the theoretical frame concerning the Human rights in the EU

legislation;

• Information referring to different discrimination practices based on the

age – discrimination of the young people;

• Elaboration of information campaigns among young people aiming at

prevention of risk behaviour.

• Introducing the rights of young women.

The programme of the exchange will include activities which will be directly connected with the main topic of the project. The activities will be based on the non formal methods of education as the specific requirements of the participants will be taken into consideration.

The project has been elaborated in close relation with the campaign of the European Commission "European Year of Creativity and Innovation 2009".

Placing the emphasis on this campaign, the exchange will include many new methods of work.
