Konflikthåndtering i volontørprosjekter, Tyrkia, 15.-21. januar 2007

COME står for "Conflict Management for CO-ordinators and Mentors in EVS projects".

Overall aim of the training course:
To improve quality of the EVS hosting projects by developing the competencies in analyzing and dealing with conflicts among the EVS actors.

Target group: The Training course is designed for people involved in EVS projects with a special focus on those directly working with the volunteers in EVS projects in Hosting Organisations as a co-ordinators (supervisors) or as a mentors (tutors).

Mentor and coordinator:
Under the mentor (tutor) we understand the person responsible for the personal support for the volunteers in hosting EVS projects and under co-ordinator (supervisor) the person, who is in the Hosting Organisation responsible for the EVS project support (in day contact with volunteers, giving them tasks “at work”).

Tandem cooperation:
We support the idea of TANDEM cooperation. That means possibility of bringing together two persons with different responsibilities from the same EVS project and providing them by common learning experience. Based on the experience from the previous editions of COME training, participants have found this tandem learning possibility as very valuable.

Maximum is 26 participants from EVS projects in different Youth Program and Euro-Med countries or SEE countries.

Participants have to be from organisations involved in hosting EVS projects (in any case organisations must be at least in the process of starting hosting EVS project), EVA (ex-volunteer association) representatives, HEI accreditors of representatives of National Agency.

Methods and techniques:
Role plays, interactive discussions, group work, simulations, case studies, individual thinking, problem solving games, drama, brainstorming, group facilitations, icebreakers, reflection methods etc.

Kostnader: Reise og opphold er dekket mot en egenandel på kr. 1000.
