AIM and OBJECTIVES
The overall aim of the course is still to develop EVS mentors’ competencies (knowledge, skills and attitude) required for good guidance and support of their volunteers.

• To reflect on and develop competencies in the guidance and support of: processes of intercultural learning, task related learning and volunteers’ integration in the organisation
• To give the chance for participants to practise skills needed for personal support of EVS volunteers.
• To discover different roles EVS mentors take.
• To give a possibility for participants to share their EVS practises.

TARGET GROUP
The Training course COMMENTS is designed for people who have experience in supporting and guiding EVS volunteers in their personal, intercultural and professional learning.
We would like to invite people, who:
- are directly and personally in contact with EVS volunteers on the hosting side. Depending from the national context they can be called “mentor”, “contact person”, “supervisor” or “tutor”.
- have supported at least 3 EVS volunteers.
- are able to communicate in English.
- have sufficient practise to share with the others.
- are not dealing only with EVS applications and paperwork.

WORKING METHODS
We will use experiential learning, a participatory approach and make use of the participants` expertise. The trainers will act more as facilitators then as teachers.
