Aims

With this seminar it is pretended to create an adequate space to learn, exchange experiences, training and to offer the opportunity to meet partners of future youth exchange partners among the youth of the different European Union and Programme countries within the YOUTH IN ACTION Programme’s Action 1.1, YOUTH EXCHANGES

Within this idea, the general aims are:

- Allow the acquirement of practical information about the community programme YOUTH IN ACTION in a general context and of the action 1.1 “Youth exchanges” in more depth.
- Make the contact between organisations from European Union and from countries participating in the Youth in Action Programme easier.
- Favour cooperation and enable the establishment of links between participants.
- Develop the needed abilities to carry out high quality youth exchange projects.

Specific aims

- Improve the acquirement of technical information about action 1.1 “YOUTH EXCHANGES” and the possibilities of action 4.3 in relationship to youth exchanges.
- Enable the exchange of experience and information between the participants.
- Help the participants in finding partners in other countries.
- Help the participants to establish and elaborate common youth exchange projects, especially multilateral projects.
- Provide the participants with an intercultural learning experience.

Profile of participants

- People who work at the area of information and youthful dinamization, and are designed by their organisation to participate in the seminar and, in its name, are able to carry out an Action 1.1 project within the YOUTH IN ACTION programme.
- They shall participate in the seminar with the general idea of elaborating and carrying out a youth exchange project within the YOUTH IN ACTION programme.
- They need basic knowledge of Spanish and/or English so as to use them as working languages at the seminar.
- They must be able to participate during the whole length of the seminar.

Number of participants

- 25 participants from Spain
- 25 participants from the rest of the countries participating in the Youth in Action Programme.

Foreseen total number of participants: 50

OBS: Vær forberedt på at det blir en del tolking, siden både spansk og engelsk vil være arbeidspråk, og deltakerne kun trenger å kunne et av språkene.

Working methodology

According to the aims of the seminar, information, partnership, exchange of experiences, training and elaboration of projects, it is pretended to apply a participation and dynamic methodology which enables the active integration of all participants and the concept of “learn by doing”.

In this sense, the working methodology will be based on:

a) Plenary information sessions to start out with in order to give information about the YOUTH IN ACTION Programme in general, and, specifically, about the Action 1.1, YOUTH EXCHAGES.

b) Establishment of an International Fair of projects in which the organisations of the different countries let know their projects using the support they consider appropriate (brochures, videos, Power Point presentations, overhead projections, etcetera) and exchange experiences with the organisations of the rest of the countries present at the Fair.

c) Draw up an agenda for interviews in which the organisations may have individual interviews in order to establish their specific projects with other organisations of their interest, after the first contact has been established in the Intercultural Fair.

d) Working Groups in order to train and guide the participants about the elaboration of the specific projects.

e) Final plenary sessions to know about the conclusions (of each working group and the seminar, in general).  Debate and solving questions.

Kostnader
Reise og opphold dekkes mot en egenandel på 1000 kroner. Deltakeren legger selv ut for reise og får dekke refundert i etterkant.
