Charles Rogers is a co-creator, co-executive producer, co-writer and co-director of Search Party, the critically acclaimed dark comedy series on HBO Max. He is also the co-writer and co-director of the independent feature film Fort Tilden, which won the Grand Jury Award at the 2014 SXSW Film Festival. His short film Men Don’t Whisper, which he co-wrote and starred in, was an official selection at the 2018 Sundance and SXSW Film Festivals. His work in television includes writing on the Netflix series Wet Hot American Summer, as well as the Amazon series Mozart in the Jungle, which won the Golden Globe® for Best Original Comedy. Charles has been named one of OUT Magazine’s 100 Most Influential LGBTQ people of that year, Forbes Magazine’s “30 Under 30 Most Successful People in Entertainment,” one of The Hollywood Reporter’s “Hollywood Power Showrunners” and Variety's “10 Writers to Watch.” He is originally from the Texas-Mexico border, a place he does not go back to.
