Another new ease-of-use minded accessory is OtterBox’s easy-grip controller shell, a protective case for the Xbox controller. It comes with swappable grip pads and has sweat-wicking technology for a stronger and more comfortable grip. The shell is available for $39.95.
OtterBox also revealed a new protective travel case specifically designed to protect Xbox controllers, which has a cable passageway to allow the controller to charge as it’s being safely stored. It also features a pop-up stand to hold a player’s phone as they game. The case retails for $44.95.
Also unveiled were a new “gaming case” for mobile devices which protects users’ phones and also helps fight overheating (available for $54.95) and a glass privacy guard that blocks would-be screen watchers ($49.95).
The new products will begin to ship starting in mid-February. Launch retailers include OtterBox, the Microsoft Store, Verizon and GameStop.
