Bungie has also added two new members to its board of directors: Trace Harris, a finance and strategy exec from Altair Engineering, and Pamela Kaufman, president of global consumer products for ViacomCBS. Bungie’s board is chaired by Pete Parsons, the company’s CEO.
“Trace and Pamela bring incredible media and entertainment experience, and we’re looking forward to taking advantage of their proven acumen as we continue to build the future of our company,” Parsons said.
Bungie also announced key additions to its talent pool. In the executive suite, Bungie has brought on Luis Villegas as chief technology officer, Danielle Porter as chief financial officer and Don McGowan as general counsel.
In the realm of Destiny, Mark Noseworthy has been appointed to vp of the expansive Destiny universe, while Luke Smith, game director of Destiny 2, will serve as executive creative director of the franchise. Both are charged with expanding Destiny IP into additional media. Meanwhile, Justin Truman, general manager of Destiny 2, takes over the development leadership of Destiny 2.
Finally, Bungie has brought in Johnny Ebbert as their chief creative officer and Zach Russell as general manager of incubation to build and drive the creative vision and foundation for future Bungie worlds. Jason Jones, chief vision officer, is taking on a talent facing role to help Bungie’s creative leadership unlock full potential.
“We are home to some of the best and brightest talent in the industry and we look forward to expanding upon both our talent pool this year and increasing the resources to support them,” said Parsons.
